Chamber pre-treatment Compa-Phos

Application: Compa-Phos is the most compact type of pre-treatment plants in which 2 - 12 process stages can be made in one or more process chambers.  Compa-Phos is the best alternative to the existing TRI-plants and dipping plants and it e.g. operates with the following processes:

  • Alkaline degreasing.
  • Iron phosphating / degreasing.
  • Zinc phosphating.

Haynncorp™ readily advises concerning the choice of the correct process, and the plants are dimensioned individually according to the requested process and capacity.

Function: The item is placed in the chamber and rinsed with chemicals and rinse water alternately depending on the wanted process.  Different process courses can be programmed by means of the PLC-control.

Environmental correct and quick process: The quantity of liquid in the Compa-phos is very small and this means a low consumption of chemicals and energy.  The fact that the liquid is sprayed on with a high pressure also means shorter process times, and there is no intermediate handling in the process.

Process stages: Every process stage has a separate liquid tank with a rinse pump which distributes the liquid to the nozzles on the movable rinse riser.  The liquid tanks can be placed under the chamber or in a separate room.

Liquid shift/liquid flow: Between every process stage, there is a break in which the item drips off.  The rinse water is used in a reverse cascade rinse minimizing the total water consumption.

Heating: If a process stage is to be heated, this can be done by electricity, water, steam or gas/oil.

Materials: As standard the plants are produced with all the liquid touching parts (tank, tunnel, rinse risers and pumps) in rust-resistant and acid-resistant steel depending on the process. The rinse risers and the nozzles are made of plastic materials, which can resist the process conditioned temperatures and chemicals.

Insulation: The tunnel and all tanks are insulated with mineral wool and covered with powder painted steel cassettes on the outside. Energy loss and noise from the plant are minimal with this construction.

Maintenance: The rinse risers and the nozzles can be adjusted and dismantled without the use of tools. Cleaning can be carried out externally. All the pumps are mounted vertically in the cover of the tanks and are immersed in the liquid. Hereby an easy maintenance and an elimination of the possibility of liquid outside the tank at a leakage in the pump system are achieved.
